I agree that self-confident people support and compliment others. This is a characteristic found in a true leader as well.
Yes.. self confidence breads other self confidence.
Amen to the deadlines thing. I have no idea why people are so negative about that, it helps me be productive and super organized despite my hectic lifestyle!
Yes.. Amen! No deadline = possibly never finishing. Deadlines give accountability.
I feel like I’m a fairly self-confident person. As I read through your list, I was nodding my head because almost all of this applies to me. Including meeting deadlines and working for myself.
I love this! I feel pretty self-confident but I def doubt myself some days.
We all self doubt here and there. But it behooves one to not fall into the trap of making it consistent.
Self confidence and a happy, positive disposition go hand-in-hand. If you’re hopeful and confident about the future, there’s really no reason to be gloomy.
Correct. But even confidence get checked every now & then.
I like how you link self confidence to being tuned in to other people. I think the key difference between the positivity of self confidence and the negativity of sheer arrogance is being in relationship w/others, vs. only thinking about yourself.
I think it’s so true that self-confident people support others! That’s so important.
This is what I need to boost my self-confidence. This post is very inspirational and definitely something worth sharing!

You made some awesome points. The first point reminds me of how I’ve grown over the years in my career. Stressing to complete tasks decreased because my confidence increased. Great post!
Great list! Would love to know you favorite resources to for growing self-confidence!
Thanks for this great post, I agree with all the points you make. One thing, I think it’s also a sign of self-confidence if you can openly acknowledge areas you struggle with. What are your thoughts on this?
Good types. Sometimes Im confused about what type of confident people are around me.
I agree with all these specially number 3. I tend to be generous when it comes to complimenting people – like whenever I like their outfit or they did a great job on a project. Some doesn’t enjoy it and feel insecure – like they’re going to be outdone by the other.
Love this list! Thanks for all the ideas.
This is such a great post and i do struggle with mental health and it does affect my confidence . I try hard to stay positive but these tips are a wonderful outline to building that self love and confidence ?
I’m all about being self confident if its in a way that’s not overly self righteous & a being a know -it-all. That’s such a turnoff for me.
I’m all about finding that confidence these days and remembering what I do well, as opposed to always thinking about what other people are doing better!
Confident people sparkle and shine, but they might not even realize why! If you are a confident person, the world is a happier place to be.

Being self-confidence makes a huge difference for sure! Works out in so many ways in life
Loved this list, especially how confident people don’t let toxicity enter. You brought up points that I wouldn’t think of initially with confidence, but I totally agree with them. Great post and reminders…Sometimes these are easier said than done, but always worth it!
I agree that confident people earn so much more in life (and I’m not referring to money). It’s hard to build up yourself to get to that point of self confidence that you are talking about in this post, but once you do, the world can be yours.
I agree with all of this. There is power in self confidence.
I love these signs for a confident person. I am trying my best each day to be more and more self-confident.
Self-confidence is such a powerful trait to have. We’re naturally happier people and naturally draw in others like us and repel the negative nancies of the world b/c they just can’t handle it. Which is fine. They’re triggered for a reason, maybe one day they’ll come back around after the go on their own personal journey.
