5 Things I’ve Learned About Personal Growth

In personal growth, your life is always under new construction. You are seeking bigger, better and striving towards consistency. Your mindset evolves, your perspective changes and your lifestyle improves. You will encounter doubt as well as skeptisism. Regardless, water your seeds and watch them grow.

Trust yourself! Challenge yourself! Don’t be afraid of change. Success is a battle of overcoming what we fear.

All of this may come with an adverse reaction and possible self destruction before you start. So before you say you can’t, tell yourself you can.

You deserve more of you.

In the process of personal growth, you must learn how to be your own best friend and cheerleader.

5 Things I’ve Learned About Personal Growth

1. You will be afraid to explore it. Anything new is always intimidating. I’ve learned to try it anyway versus having regret or wondering what it would have been like if I didn’t. The effects of personal growth can be life enhancing. Whether it be a new career, a new business, a trip you’ve been dreaming about or a more fufilling relationship, everything will change from that point on when you give it attention and perspective. Have faith and move forward.

2. Everyone won’t understand what you are going to or through. And that’s that’s ok. It’s not for them to understand. People are so quick to say they understand, but chances are they don’t. Even though they may have been down that road, everyone’s journey is different. Your walk may not be the same.

3. You will not be able to satisfy everyone in your personal growth journey. You will come across people who will question why you are doing something different. Growth scares comfortable people. It also intimidates those who aren’t excited for you. Who are you living for? You or other people. Love yourself enough to take that chance on you. Spend time doing what you enjoy and that gives you energy.

4. People who started with you will probably not end with you. Personal growth brings out your true tribe, your clique and those people who said they got your back. These people will support you in that growth. They will encourage you. They will push you. They will love you inspite of. Stay connected to them and thank them often. In the end, you will find that the people who you thought were your friends and family, they were just present for convience or situation and maybe even circumstance. And that’s ok too. When people show you who they are, believe them and move on with no regrets.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer..

5. Personal growth is underrated and under utilized. The life you live when you personally grow is undeniably exilirating. To do new things, to travel to new places, to learn something new, to meet new people, to eat new foods, to do anything new gives you a whole new outlook on life. It takes you out of the box that society expects you to live in.

It’s your time to shine.
